Micklas, Ava Fayeth (5 August 2011 - 18 May 2013)

Ava F. Micklas, age 20 months, of Stanley, went to be God’s little angel on Saturday, May 18, 2013. She passed away due to complications with respiratory failure. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at Abundant Life Church, in Thorp. Pastor John Sindler officiated and burial followed in St. Bernard’s Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Daniel Stolp, Philip Stolp, Adam Anglemeyer, Chris Micklas, Tucker Johnson and Jerry Simmons. Visitation was held at the church on Tuesday, May 21, 2013, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., and again on Wednesday, from 9:30 a.m. until time of service.

Ava Fayeth Micklas was born on August 5, 2011, in Marshfield, WI, the daughter of Steve and Amanda (Stolp) Micklas. Ava, along with her identical twin Alivia, was born three months early and was one of our little miracles. She spent her time playing with her big sister, Addisyn, and her twin sister, Alivia. Ava was a Momma’s girl from day one, but she loved standing by the front window waiting for Daddy to come home from work so he could play with her and tickle her. Ava was born on her Oma’s (Carmon Faye Stolp’s) birthday. Ava was a little princess who brightened everyone’s life with her sweet personality and shy smile. She was loved by family and friends alike.

She will be dearly missed by her parents, Steve and Amanda (Stolp) Micklas; her sisters: Addisyn (4) and Alivia (20 months); her grandparents: Art and Carmon Stolp (Opa and Oma) of Thorp, WI, Ron and Suzanne Walters of Bancroft, WI, Steve Micklas Sr. and Annette of Mayville, WI; her great-grandparents: Richard and Esther Rosemeyer of Thorp, WI, and Lucas and Rita Stolp of Clinton, MT; her great-great-grandpa: Justin Rosemeyer of Thorp, WI; and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

Condolences may be sent to Abundant Life Church of Thorp. Online condolences may be expressed at www.cuddiefh.com.  Thorp Funeral home assisted the family with the arrangements.
