Klemetson, Diane (7 NOV 1964)

Mr. and Mrs. Allen Dunow are making their home in Abbotsford at the Cedar Crest Trailer Court.

The wedding of Miss Diane Klemetson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Klemetson, Curtiss (Clark Co., Wis.), and Allen Dunow, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Dunow of Owen, took place Saturday, Nov. 7, 1964, at St. Katherine's Episcopal Church, Owen. The Rev. Richard Hewetson witnessed their exchange of promises in a double ring ceremony before the altar adorned with vases of white pompons.

Miss Julene Radlinger of Dorchester sang "O Perfect Love" and Miss Susie Laabs of Curtiss was the organist and accompanist.

Seating the guests at the church were Louis Grile of Milwaukee, a brother-in-law of the groom, and Dennis Luscher of Owen, a friend.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, appeared in an entrained gown of Chantilly lace. It was designed with a fitted bodice, scalloped neckline, and long sleeves that tapered to points over the wrists. The tiered skirt was detailed with iridescent sequins. The pearl crown which her mother wore at her wedding held the bride's fingertip veil of illusion. She carried a cascade bouquet of red roses and white carnations.

Debbie Ridpath of Owen, a cousin of the bride, served as flower girl. She was dressed like the bride and wore a fingertip veil secured to a lace rose and carried a bouquet of red and white carnations.

Miss Judy Klemetson of Curtiss was her sister's maid of honor. Miss Wendy Wojner of Abbotsford, a friend, and Mrs. William Dunow, a sister-in-law of the groom, were the bridesmaids. They were dressed alike in turquoise satin peau bell shaped floor length and sleeveless gowns. With them they wore white elbow length gloves, matching pill box headpieces with small veils and had wrist corsages of whtie and turquoise dyed carnations.

Serving the groom were John Kopp of Curtiss, a friend, as best man, William Dunow of Owen, a brother, and Arlyn Klemetson of Curtiss, a cousin of the bride, as groomsmen, and Dennis Klemetson of Curtiss, a brother of the bride, as ring bearer.

To her daughter's wedding Mrs. Klemetson wore a light blue brocaded suit. Mrs. Dunow chose a turquoise wool suit. Both mothers wore black accessories and had shoulder corsages of white carnations with gold trim.

After the ceremony about 250 guests attended the reception held at the Curtiss community hall and the 5 o'clock supper served at the parish hall in Owen. In the evening a wedding dance was held at Dorchester Memorial Hall.

Guests from a distance at the wedding included Mr. and Mrs. Mike Ottery and daughter, Mickey, Mrs. Hebert Skoglund, Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Eckes, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Droust, Sherwood, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Eckes, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Sheets and daughter, Winona, Minn., Mr. and Mrs. Louis Grile and daughters, Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. Neil Sheets and family of Marshfield.

The bride attended the Abbotsford High School and the groom attended the Owen-Withee High School. Mr. Dunow is employed by Freeport Silo Co. at Withee.
