Sanders, A. G. (29 AUG 1888 – 21 AUG 1964)

Funeral services for A. G. Sanders, 77, a Marshfield businessman for many years and formerly of Thorp, were held in Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m. Monday. The Rev. W. J. Dilfenburg officiated and burial was in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

Mr. Sanders died in St. Joseph’s Hospital at 11:30 a.m. Friday, shorty after suffering a heart attack.

Born in Cobb, Wis. on Aug. 29, 1886, he was married at Thorp on June 20, 1912 to Josephine Belcheck, who preceded him in death in 1957. Mr. Sanders had been a resident of Marshfield since 1922.

Survivors include a son, Myron Sanders, Marshfield; three daughters, Mrs. George E. (Mildred) Miller, Eau Claire; Mrs. James E. (Evelyn) Coleman, Marshfield; and Miss Delores Sanders, Phoenix, Ariz.; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Anton Dallenforfer and Mrs. Arthur Yerke, both of Marshfield.

Two brothers preceded Mr. Sanders in death.
