Radloff, Lt. Marilyn Joy (Marriage - 26 July 1969)

Lt. Marilyn Joy Radloff and Captain Robert S. Moorehead, Jr., were united in marriage in a military ceremony July 26, at Eglin AFB, Fla. The double-ring ceremony was solemnized by Chap. Edwin Davis.

The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Virginia Radloff of Neillsville. The groom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Robert S. Moorehead, Sr., of Cambridge, O.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her mother and Col. William H. Norris, wore a floor-length gown of white satin peau de soie overlaid with lace. The gown was styled by Mrs. William H. Norris and was princess-style, with a Mandarin collar and full lace sleeves fitting into a cuff at the wrist. The back was accented with a peau de soie bow extending to the end of the cathedral train. A bouffant illusion veil was trimmed at the hairline with white daisies matching the lace design of the gown. She carried a white basket of yellow and white roses and a handmade lace handkerchief carried by her grandmother at her marriage ceremony in 1909.

The bride’s attendant was Mrs. William Malerba of Shalimar, Fla.

Paul S. Moorehead, brother of the groom, served as best man.

The couple left the church following the military tradition under an arch of drawn sabers.

A reception was held at the Eglin Officer’s Club.

The couple left Sunday for Nashville, Tenn., where Captain Moorehead will complete a short training course and then they will return to Topeka, Kans., to his regular base. Mrs. Moorehead, who has been stationed at Eglin AFB, has been transferred to Topeka, where she will continue as an air force nurse. The couple will reside at 4120 Twilight Drive, Topeka.

Mrs. Moorehead is a graduate of Bellin Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, Green Bay, and Capt. Moorehead from Ohio University. He is a member of Phi Kappa Sigma.

Out-of-state guests were Miss Susan Moorehead and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Moorehead, Sr., of Cambridge, O.; Mr. and Mrs. Paul S. Moorehead of Columbus, O.; and Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Pfeffer of Brillion.
