Zank, Lu Anne (Marriage - 19 July 1969)

Miss Lu Anne Zank, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Zank of Rt. 1 Neillsville, and Edgar Eddy, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Eddy, Sr., of Rt. 3 Neillsville, exchanged wedding vows at an 8 o’clock candlelight service Saturday. The Rev. Gale Wolf officiated at a double-ring ceremony in the United Church of Christ.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, was attired in a white empire-style gown of nylon organza, with an A-line skirt and elegant train featuring sequin-trimmed scalloped edges of delicate lace acetate and nylon. Her two-tier, elbow-length bouffant veil fell from a forward simulated pearl-trimmed crown of petals and lace. Her colonial bouquet was of red roses and white chrysanthemums.

Miss Shirley Eddy as maid-of-honor wore a floor-length gown of aqua colored georgette and chattily lace. Her small veil formed a forward cluster of wedding bells. She carried a colonial bouquet of pink rose buds.

Ron Zank served as bestman.

Miss Eileen Zank provided nuptial organ music. A reception was held in the church dining room.

Both Mr. and Mrs. Zank are graduates of Neillsville High School, she in 1969 and he in 1967. They will reside in Kenosha, where both are employed.
