Miss Carol A. Wiersig, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Wiersig of Colby became the bride of Earl F. Wilhelmi, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wilhelmi of Abbotsford, Saturday, Aug. 8, 1964 at Zion Lutheran Church, Colby.

The Rev. Harold Woodworth performed the ceremony at 3:30 p.m. Mrs. Lawrence Priem was the organist and accompanist for Kenneth Schulz who sang "The Lord's Prayer" and the congregation which sang "Let Us Ever Walk with Jesus."

The bride was attired in a floor length gown of silk organza over taffeta. It was designed with a heart shaped neckline, bracelet length sleeves, a bell-shaped skirt and detachable train. Her illusion veil was attached to a crown. She carried a fan-shaped arrangement of red roses.

Thee sisters attended her in three shades of blue street length dresses accented with bows and carried bouquets of blue tinted carnations. Miss Patricia Wiersig of Chicago was maid of honor, and Cheryl Wiersig of Chicago and Miss Linda Wiersig of Colby were the bridesmaids.

Walter Wilhelmi of Florence was his brother's best man, and Kenneth Wilhelmi of Abbotsford, another brother, and Richard Carolfi of Stratford were the groomsmen.

Robert Wiersig of Colby, a brother of the bride, seated the guests at the church.

Following the ceremony a reception was held in the church parlors and in the evening a dance was held at Memorial Hall, Dorchester.

Colby will be the future home of Mr. and Mrs. Wilhelmi. The groom is employed at Packaging Corp. of America. His bride is a 1964 graduate of the Wis. State University, Eau Claire, and teaches in the Colby grade school.

Guests at the wedding came from Marshfield, Wausau, Stratford, Colby, Abbotsford, Florence, Neenah, Milwaukee, Eau Claire, Spencer, Edgar, Minneapolis and Moline, Ill., and Pennsylvania.
