After July 11, Mr. and Mrs. Harley Johnson will be at home to friends in Colby. Mrs. Johnson is a teacher in the elementary school at Colby and Mr. Johnson is employed at Rollohome Corp.

Miss Miriam Kilty and Harley Johnson were united in marriage Saturday, June 27 in a 1:30 o'clock ceremony at Trinity Lutheran Church, Unity, with the Rev. Robert Langseth officiating.

Parents of the bridal couple are Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Kilty, Route 1, Edgar, and Mr. and Mrs. Salem Johnson of Colby.

For the wedding ceremony, the bride chose a white, floor length gown of silk organza with molded basque bodice with a pearl created neckline and elbow length sleeves. The A-line flared skirt had a detachable Watteau train. Organza bows studded with pearls secured her bouffant illusion veil. Pink roses were combined with ivy in a cascade arrangement for the bridal bouquet.

Pink and white carnations in cascade bouquet were carried by the bride's attendants who were dressed alike in Nile green peau de soie sheath dressed with detachable tunic overskirts.

Miss Mala Schnelle of Arlington, Va. And Dennis Cook of Madison were the honor attendants and Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Kilty, Route 1, Edgar, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wheatley, Jr. of Arlington, Va., completed the wedding party.

The bride's mother was attired in a nubbed green sheath jacket dress with white accessories. The groom's mother wore a willow green embroidered shirt waist dress with pleated skirt and matching accessories.

During the ceremony, for which Mrs. Ansel Messer was the organist, Mrs. Kenneth Hansen sang "To Thee, Our Father's God" and "Lord, Who at Canna's Wedding."

About 200 guests attended the reception held at the Colby City Hall and the dinner at the church hall. In the evening a wedding dance was held at Sportsman's Park.
