Drake, Walter A.  (19 SEP 1884 – 31 JAN 1965)

Services were held Wednesday, February 3, at the Myre Funeral Home for Walter A. Drake who died Sunday January 31. The Rev. Paul Doering, pastor of the Loyal Methodist Church officiated and burial was made in the Windfall Cemetery at Granton.

Pallbearers were Ernest Sanger, Emil Henninger, John Olsen, Sigward Johnson, George Brenner and Milton Bombard.

Mrs. Paul Doering accompanied at the organ by Juliann Vajgrt sang “In The Garden” and “Beyond The Sunset.”

Attending the services from out of town were Mrs. Beatrice Rosik, Highland Park, Illinois, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Marcinkus and son of Waukegan, Illinois, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Lemke, Hawkins; Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Schultz, Mr. and Mrs. Helmut Schultz and son, Victor, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Moede and Mr. and Mrs. Dale Wenzel, Marshfield; Calvin Bombard, Madison.

Mr. and Mrs. Harold Schlinsog, Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Fields, Mr. and Mrs. Emil Henninger, and Mr. and Mrs. Everett Kauffman, and Mr. and Mrs. Julius Rennak, Mrs. Harry Cole and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Knoll, Granton; Rueben Fields and son, Alfred, Mrs. Norman Freedlund and Mrs. Charles Schwanebeck, Pittsville; Mr. and Mrs. William Dankemeyer, Chili.
