Erickson, Patricia (18 Jul 1964)

PATRICIA ERICKSON IS BRIDE OF GERALD FREECK

Miss Patricia Ann Erickson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Erickson, route 2, Colby, was given in marriage by her father to Gerald Ronald Freeck, route 3, Medford, during a 10:00 o’clock wedding ceremony performed Saturday morning July 18, in St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, Abbotsford.

Officiating at the nuptial rites was the Pastor, the Rev. Raymond Schulz. The church was adorned with arrangements of white snowballs and gladioli. St. Bernard’s church Choir sang for the wedding.

When the bride entered church with her father she was wearing a floor-length bridal gown designed with a lace insertion forming the jewel-trimmed scalloped Sabrina neckline on the fitted bodice of silk organza.

The full hoop skirt of organza over taffeta was accented by lace appliques in front, the back being completed by a detachable lace train. French illusion veiling in fingertip length was secured to a crown of pearls and aurora borealis crystals.

The bride’s crescent-shaped bouquet included red roses centered with a white orchid and white stephanotis.

Preceding the bride to the altar were the aides, Miss Patricia Bungert, Milwaukee, the maid of honor; Mrs. Donald Freeck of Marshfield, and Miss Jan Borchardt, Owen, the bridesmaids: and Susan Zabrak, Abbotsford, junior bridesmaid.

The attendants were attired in powder blue ballerina-length sheath dresses or organza over taffeta made with rounded necklines and fully gathered overskirts of lace with bow trim at the waistlines. They had matching floral cap headpieces with pearl trim and face veils.

The maid of honor held a crescent shaped bouquet of white carnations with blue streamers and the bridesmaids’ crescent-shaped bouquets were white and blue-tinted carnations with white streamers.

Denise Lynch and Scotty Voss were the flower girl and ring bearer respectively. Denise wore a dress identical to that of the bride and carried a lace basket containing red roses and white carnations.

Donald Freeck, Marshfield, was the best man. Groomsmen were McGraf and Dick Huterer, both of Medford with Duane Christensen.
