Don’t forget to attend the ice cream social at Joe Counsell’s Friday night. Proceeds will go toward the minister’s salary.

Murray Benedict of Madison is working for O.E. Counsell.

Harry Benedict spent Sunday at H.O. Huckstead’s.

Mrs. Hills spent the weekend with Mrs. Wm. Gerhardt.

Ralph Blackman left Saturday for Dakota to work in the harvest fields.

Mrs. H. Counsell spent part of last week at her son’s, O.E. Counsell.

The Wilson Bros. are treating Sereno Wren’s houses to a coat of paint.

Mrs. Blackman had an apple paring bee one day last week.

Mesdames Geo. Vine, Sarah Selves and Ed. Huckstead spent last Wednesday at the Blackman home.

Miss Hattie Drescher spent Sunday afternoon with Sadie Blackman.

The Girls Club spent Tuesday afternoon with Marie Carter and had a fine time.

Pleasant Ridge boys beat the Neillsville Cubs 8-10 Sunday.

Jim Hughes, wife and son, Donald, went to Alma Center to visit relatives until Monday.

Mrs. H.O. Huckstead spent Friday and Saturday with her sister in Neillsville.

The Stanley boys went to Granton Saturday and brought home a new six cylinder Grant car.

The cheesemaker has a car since Saturday.

There was a surprise farewell party on Ralph Blackman at Will Waterman’s Friday night.

Victor Counsell took a spring lamb to market that weighed 131 lbs.

Ella Raine and the Counsell girls spent a day with Anita Kuetchenmeister.

Estella Selves attended Catholic Church with Emile Root Sunday morning.

Mrs. Wm. Rogers returned home Saturday after spending last week with friends in Greenwood.

Clifford Swann of Neillsville spent this week with his cousin, Herbert Swann.

Irene Counsell spent Saturday and Sunday with Helen Short.

Dorris Huckstead spent Thursday with little friends in Neillsville.
