Anna Pauline (Wolf) Wilke (27 Jan 1893 - 19 Jan 1970)

Mrs. Anna Pauline Wilke, 76, Dorchester (Clark Co., WI), a lifelong area resident, died Monday of an apparent heart attack at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. today, Thursday (22 Jan 1970), at St. Peter's Lutheran church, Dorchester, with Rev. F. H. Sprengler officiating. Interment will take place in Dorchester Memorial cemetery.

The body will repose at Maurina funeral home, Dorchester, from Wednesday afternoon until noon today, Thursday, and then at the church until time of services.

The former Anna Wolf was born January 27, 1893, in the town of Mayville, Clark county. She received her education at Hilltop school, town of Mayville, and at St. Peter's parochial school, Dorchester. Her marriage to Herman Wilke, who preceded her in death April 28, 1958, took place June 2, 1914, at St. Peter's Lutheran church.

After their marriage the couple farmed in the town of Mayville until 1946 when they moved to Dorchester.

Mrs. Wilke was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran church and its Ladies' Aid society.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Sack of Phillips; one brother William Wolf of rural Dorchester, and four sisters, Mrs. Ida Schwartz of Colby, Mrs. Ella Boxrucker of Owen, Mrs. Elsa Bruesewitz of Auburndale, and Mrs. Emma Tauchen of Dorchester.

Twin sons, two brothers and two sisters also preceded her in death.
