Wyman, Ermine (24 Dec. 1926 – 21 Apr. 2003)

KEWAUNEE – Ermine “Mickie” Wyman, age 76, of Cape Coral, Fla., formerly of Kewaunee, died Monday, April 21, 2003, at her home in Kewaunee where she recently moved to be near her family.

She was born Dec. 24, 1926, in Spencer to the late Leonard & Lorena (Krause) Cramer.

Mickie graduated from Spencer High School in 1944 as valedictorian. After high school, she graduated from Spencerian Business College in Milwaukee. She married William Wyman April 12, 1947, in Spencer. She and William owned and operated several retail grocery and clothing businesses in Spencer, Abbotsford and Kewaunee until retiring to Cape Coral in 1984.

While residing in Cape Coral, she was very active in Abiding Love Lutheran Church, the Wisconsin Club and the New Residents Club. Her interests also included golf and tennis.

Survivors include her husband, William, two sons and daughters-in-law: Wynn and Jan Wyman of Elmhurst, Ill., and Tim and Lorry Wyman of West Chicago, Ill., and three daughters and sons-in-law, Terri and Joe Kohlbeck of Kewaunee, Jody and Steve Gee of McHenry, Ill., and Gayle and Kurt Ullmer, DePere; six grandchildren, Kendyl Wyman, Tysyn and Eric Wyman, Rachel Kramer, Layla and Sally Gee; and two stepgrandsons, David Reimann and Kiefer Kohlbeck; one brother and sister-in-law, Elroy and Ilene Cramer of Rock Falls, Ill.; one sister, Angeline Colrud of Virginia Beach, Va., along with numerous friends and relatives. She was preceded in death by one brother, Gerald Cramer.

Friends may call after 9:30 a.m. Saturday, May 3, at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Kewaunee, until time of services. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Randy Schoemann officiating. Buchanan Funeral Home, Kewaunee, is assisting the family with arrangements.

The family would like to give special thanks to friends and church members of Abiding Love Lutheran Church of Cape Coral, Fla., for their help and support and Hope Hospice of Cape Coral and Unity Hospice of Green Bay.
