Barber, Chadwick (20 May 1919 – 11 Mar. 2003)

Barber, 83, Chadwick (Chad) Barber, 83, of Marathon, died Tuesday, March 11, 2003, at his home.

A memorial service was held Monday, March 17, in Wausau.

A graveside service and inurnment will be held at Nola Cemetery, Park Falls, at a later date.

He was born May 20, 1919, in Butternut. His parents were Ward and Amanda (Knoop) Barber.

He was a machinist and was proud to have served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of Thaddeus K. Zyk American Legion Post No. 272, Butternut.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Dean.

He will be missed by his many close friends in the Wausau area.
