Plath, Helen (Marriage – 29 Sept.)

Miss Helen Plath, oldest daughter of Mrs. and Mrs. William Plath, Spencer, became the bride of Harold Fisher, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Fisher, Fond du Lac at a ceremony performed this morning at 9 O'clock by Father Roden in the parsonage of St. Joseph's Church at Fond du Lac.

The bride's gown was of dark brown velvet. She wore a hat and accessories to match and carried an arm bouquet of burnt orange pom poms and talisman roses. Agatha Lauby, Calvary, as bridesmaid, wore wine colored velvet and accessories matching and carried arm bouquet of bronze pom poms, orphia roses. Gerald Shing, Fond du Lac, was best man.

After the ceremony breakfast was served for the bridal party at the home of the groom's parents.

The bride is a graduate of the Spencer high school class of (?) and was employed in Chicago, Illinois accepting a position in Fond du Lac where she has been employed for the past two years. The groom holds the position as manager of the Fond du Lac Equity company.

Mr. and Mrs. Fisher left on a wedding trip to the Century of Progress exposition in Chicago and will also visit other points in Illinois and Wisconsin. They will be at home after Oct. 10, at 223 1/2 Superior St., Fond du Lac. *** Note: A date of Sept. 29 19?? was hand written in the margin.
