Haderlein, Anna M. (July 14, 1910 - January 6, 2010)


Anna M. Haderlein, 99, of Wausau formerly of Milan, died Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at Marywood Convalescent Center in Wausau. 

 

Anna was born July 14, 1910 in rural Abbotsford, the daughter of Frank and Alma (Denzine) Zahorka.

 

She attended Wright Country School in the town of Holton. 

 

Anna married Andrew Haderlein on June 2, 1931, in Medford.

 

She began employment at the Laabs Cheese Factory which later became Kraft Foods. 

 

Anna was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and its Ladies Aid. She was known for her cooking and bakery treats. 

 

Anna is survived by her children, Darlene (Myron) Scheffler of Edgar and Kenneth (Lois Haderlein of Wausau; one sister, Bernice Horacek of Abbotsford; five grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. 

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers, Ervin and Artur; and one great-grandson. 


Her funeral service was held Monday, January 11, 2010 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Milan. The Rev. Jeffery Lambrecht presided. Burial followed in Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery. Acting as her pallbearers were Daniel and Matthew Chroust, Gary and Deb Scheffler, Al Alama and David Haderlein.


Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home of Abbotsford assisted the family with arrangements.
