Krautkramer, Lorraine M. (November 5, 1922 - October 13, 2009)

 

Lorraine M. Krautkramer, 86, Marathon, died Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.

 

The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Friday at St. Mary Catholic Church,

Marathon. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 - 8 p.m.

Thursday at the Peterson-Kraemer Funeral Home, Marathon and again on Friday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services at the church. There will be a rosary service at 7:45 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home.

Lorraine M. Krautkramer, 86, Marathon, died Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.

 

She was born November 5, 1922 in Marathon, daughter of the late Peter and Mary (Murr) Hornung. On August 20, 1946, she married Arnold Krautkramer at St. Mary Catholic Church, Marathon. He survives.

 

For many years, she worked evenings at Marathon Cheese Corp. and was a member of St. Mary's PCCW. Lorraine was a dedicated homemaker and enjoyed gardening and growing a variety of berries. She was a woman of strong faith and instilled those values into her children and grandchildren.

 

Survivors include her husband, Arnold Krautkramer, Marathon; nine children, Arnold A. (Mary) Krautkramer, Marathon, Sheri (Dan) Lepak, Rib Mountain, John (Marie)

Krautkramer, Racine, Waine (Candy) Krautkramer, Stettin, Marvin (Beverly)

Krautkramer, Rib Falls, George (Rhonda) Krautkramer, Wausau, Ronald Krautkramer, Rib Falls, Gary (Paula) Krautkramer, Kronenwetter and Daniel (Kris) Krautkramer, Marathon; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; two sisters, Florence Kage, Wausau and Joan (Mark) Boehm, Wausau; and one brother, Albin (Mary Ann) Hornung, Marathon; and many nieces and nephews.

 

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by twelve siblings.

 

The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Friday at St. Mary Catholic Church,

Marathon. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 - 8 p.m.

Thursday at the Peterson-Kraemer Funeral Home, Marathon and again on Friday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
