Smart, Norma (Marriage - 31 Aug. 1943)

A very pretty wedding took place at St. Thomas church, Milan, Tuesday morning at 9:00 o’clock, with the Rev. Raymond Schultz officiating, when Miss Norma Smart, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Smart, town of Frankfort, was united in marriage to ?ter Schillinger, son of Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Schillinger, also of the town of Frankfort. This day was also the bride’s birthday.

The bride wore a beautiful white ? ninon gown, long sleeves and ? train. The embroidered veil had a long train. She carried a ? bouquet of pink roses and ? flowers.

The matron of honor, Mrs. Lawrence ?, town of Frankfort, wore blue marquisette. The two bridesmaids, ? Zobrak, Milan, and Lucille ?, Colby, wore pink marquisette gowns. All three wore shoulder veils and corsages to match their gowns.

Clarence Mielke was best man and ? Schillinger and Lea Smart, town of Frankfort, were the groomsmen.

? Wurthman, town of Frankfort, and Julius Schultz, Colby, acted as ushers.

? Dolores Schillinger, dressed in a long, white dress, carried a basket of roses and Marvin Schillinger, dressed in a white linen suit, carried the rings on a white pillow.

A reception and dinner followed the ceremony at the home of the bride’s parents and a dance at Trianon was held in the evening.

The young couple will live on a farm the the town of Frankfort.

Out of town guests included Mr. and Mrs. H. Wautek, Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Miller, Wausau; Mr. and Mrs. August Schultz, Mr. and Mrs. Earnest Schultz and their family, Mr. and Mrs. William Longhead, Mr. and Mrs. L. Wurthman, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Smart, Mr. and Mrs. ? S. Smart and Alfred Smart, Colby; Gottlieb Schultz, Spencer; Mr. and Mrs. Mike Nehring and Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Zobrak, Milan.
