Schaefer, Lorraine Marie (Marriage - Feb. 1945)

In the presence of relatives and friends in the rectory of Mary Queen of Heaven Catholic church in Cicero, Ill., marriage vows were exchanged between Lorraine Marie Schaefer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Werner C. Schaefer, of Milan, and Irvin Michael Bouse, son of Mrs. Josephine Bouse, of Cicero. The Rev. Rooney read the marriage service at 3:00 o’clock in the afternoon.

The bride wore a powder blue suit of wool cardigan, with brown accessories and a corsage of orchids.

Attending the couple were Miss Bernice Schaefer, sister of the bride and Elmer Bouse, brother of the groom, both of Cicero. Miss Schaefer wore a gold colored wool cardigan suit with brown accessories and a corsage of gardenias.

The mother of the bride wore a printed crepe dress and the mother of the groom wore a blue crepe dress. Their corsages were of carnations and small flowers.

A seven o’clock dinner was served for the 16 guests.

Mr. and Mrs. Bouse left on a short wedding trip and are now at home to friends at 5629 West 23rd street, in Cicero.

Attending the wedding from Milan were Mr. and Mrs. Werner Schaefer, and four children, Leslie, Arnold, Blanche and Joyce.
