Miss Kate Hyatt visited Saturday with her parents at Unity.

A daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. Bert Andrews Wednesday, Oct. 6th.

Mrs. E. Heath is having a foundation made under her home and also a small office made.

John Phillippi who has been doing night work at this station was removed to Loyal last week.

E. G. Ingham who has been spending a few weeks at Albertville spent Sunday with his family.

Mrs. F. Schwantes died at her home in Brighton Tuesday after a lingering illness. She was past eighty years old and an old resident of Brighton. She leaves a husband and several sons and daughters to mourn her loss. The funeral was held from the Lutheran church Friday afternoon.

A well attended auction was held at A. Strege’s farm 1 ˝ miles west of the village last Saturday at which the farm, all farm implements, household goods, stock and horses were sold. The farm was bid in by Dr. Strayer for $3350. Mr. Strege and family will leave this week for Everett, Wash. to make their future home.
