Mitzlaff, George (4 Apr. 1873 - 28 Feb. 1949)

Spencer - George Mitzlaff, 75, died at his home in Jump River this morning at 3:30 o'clock.

Tentative arrangements have been made to hold the funeral services at St. John's Lutheran Church, Brighton, Thursday afternoon, the Rev. H. C. Hinz officiating.

The body will lie in state at the Swarthout Funeral Home beginning Tuesday noon.

Mr. Mitzlaff was born in Milwaukee April 4, 1873. He lived in the vicinity of Spencer for 25 years.

His wife preceded him in death. Surviving are eight children, Frank, Hannibal; Harold, Jump River; Ervin, Dolores, Colo.; Mrs. Evelyn Deauchamp, Miss Caroline Mitzlaff, and Mrs. Albert (Alvera) Delvis, all of Milwaukee; Mrs. Henry (Eleanor) Moore, Hot Springs, Ark.; and Mrs. Manny (Lillian) Flegler. He had 12 grandchildren.
