Hennlich, Hans & Gertude (50th Anniversary,0 June 1983)

Mr. and Mrs. Hans Hennlich, former Dorchester residents, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary June 25, beginning with a service of thanksgiving in St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Wisconsin Rapids. The Rev. Timothy Wenger officiated.

A reception and dinner followed in the Town of Rome Municipal Hall.

Hennlich and the former Gertrude Dietrich were married June 20, 1933 in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Town of Green Grove, by the Rev. M.C. Goetsch. Attendants present for the golden anniversary were Marion Dietrich Stache, Evi Hennlich, Gretchen Hennlich O'Connor and Donald Sommer.

The Hennlichs have four children, Mrs. Donald (Diane) Henkel, Franklin; Richard Hennlich, Neillsville; and Cristine Van Asunto and Steven Hennlich, both of Milwaukee. There are 11 grandchildren.
