The Rev. Charles E. Saletri of 302 N. Main St., Greenwood, came to this area in October 1981 to assume the pastorate of Missionary Baptist Church, Greenwood. He was born November 18, 1943 in Green Bay. His B.S. degree was attained from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and his master of divinity degree from Conservative Baptist Theological Seminary in Denver. His ordination took place in April 1982 at Missionary Baptist Church, Greenwood. While in Arizona, Saletri started a new Baptist church in Higley. Before entering the ministry in 1978, he had spent 11 years in administrative positions in the Department of Defense and U.S. Mint. A member of the Conservative Baptist Association of Wisconsin, Saletri and his wife, Sue E., are the parents of a daughter, Pamela, and a son, Eric.
