Blazel, Alvin & Elizabeth (50th Anniversary- 28 June 1983)

Celebrating 50 years of married life June 24 were Mr. and Mrs. Alvin "Pete" Blazel Sr. of Dorchester. Blazel and Elizabeth Koenings of Milwaukee were married June 28, 1933 in St. Leo's Catholic Church, Milwaukee. A reception was at The Sword, Colby.

Their attendants were Agnes Lauer Taape, Lucille Koenings and Lester Schultes, all of Milwaukee.

The Blazels' four children are Mrs. Joseph (Louise) Brill, Colby; Mrs. Ronald (Helen) Busse, Dorchester; James Blazel, Athens; and Dennis Blazel, Marshall. There are 18 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Parents of the Blazels are the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Blazel of Dorchester and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Koenings of Milwaukee.
