Janssen, Roselyn (Marriage - 19 APR 1951)

St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Stanley was the setting Thursday, April 19, 1951, for the marriage of Miss Roselyn Janssen and Marvin Steinmetz. The Rev. Ralph Geissler read the sing ring nuptials.

Attending the bride as maid of honor was her sister, Mary, Eau Claire. They are the daughters of Mrs. Rose Janssen, Stanley. Miss Janssen’s gown, styled with a taffeta skirt and lace bodice, was of orchid.

Miss Joan Evers, Stanley, wore an identical gown of lime green, and Miss Betty Steinmetz, the bridegroom’s sister, wore a gown of yellow for their roles as bridesmaids.

As flower girl, Lynn Ann Willkom, Boyd, the bride’s nice, wore a gown of white net over taffeta.

The bridegroom’s brother, Henry, was best man. They are the sons of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Steinmetz, Sr., Stanley. Francis Koepl, Stanley, was groomsman, and ushers were Giles Janssen, Boyd, the bride’s brother, and her brother-in-law, Oswald Willkom, Boyd.

Mr. and Mrs. Steinmetz will live in Stanley.
