The Rev. Horst Augustin officiated at the Saturday afternoon, September 6, Zion Lutheran Church of Granton wedding of Janice Lynn Garbisch and Roger Allan Hamilton. Parents of the couple are Mrs. Viola Garbisch and the late Alfred Garbisch, Neillsville and Dolores Hamilton of Milwaukee and Charles Hamilton of Monona.

The bride’s mother and the bride’s brother, Milton, presented her to the altar. Special music at the service was provided by Iris Musil and John Garbisch.

Shella Schilling of Colby was the matron of Honor. She was joined in the bride’s party by Lois Garbisch of Granton and Virginia LeMahieu of Marshfield.

Gerald Hamilton of Monona was the bestman. He was joined by Robert Garbisch of Granton and Lee Thomas of Monona. Ushering were David Olson and Richard Smith.

The bride chose an A-line gown featuring a chapel-length train of white luster-glow jersey, which was accented with silk Venician lace on the bodice and hem. Her matching lace-edged veil was the Mantilla-style and was of chapel length. She carried a cascading bouquet of white roses and baby’s breath. Her attendants wore blue knit formals with cascading bouquets of light blue primroses and dark blue bellflowers.

Following the service, a reception and dinner was held in the church hall.
