Tomlinson, Homer (10 October 1909 - 15 May 1988)

Former Neillsville resident, Homer Tomlinson, 78, died Sunday, May 15, at Waupun Memorial Hospital., He was born Oct. 10, 1909, in the Town of Lake Fork, Logan County, IL, to Lawrence and Margie (Carter) Tomlinson. On January 7, 1935, he was married to Jeynetta King at Neillsville. He worked at various jobs here before moving to Campbellsport, where he was a cheesemaker at Stella Cheese for over 30 years.

Survivors include two sons, Arthur of Campbellsport, and Dale of Madison; a daughter, Mrs. John (Elaine) Neckuty of Campbellsport; 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; one brother, Jess of Neillsville; two sisters, Violet of Osseo and Mrs. Peter (Pauline) Strangfeld, Neillsville. He was predeceased by his wife and his parents.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 17, at 11:30 a.m. at Twohig Funeral Home, Campbellsport, Rev. Stanley Hayes officiated. Interment was in Union Cemetery Campbellsport.
