Krejci, Estella F. (17 January 1898 – 25 January 1988)

Estelle F. Krejci, Neillsville, died suddenly Monday evening, January 25, in the emergency room of Memorial Hospital. She was born in the Town of York, Clark County, on January 17, 1898, to Frank M. and Anna (Schaefer) Krejci. After her education, she worked at home for several years, then move to Neenah where she was employed for 19 years as a housekeeper for the Stranges family. She then moved to Milwaukee and for 20 years was the cook for the Allis family. Also, for two years she worked for the Baer family in Milwaukee. In 1969, she returned to Neillsville and resided in her home on Court Street. She was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church.

She was predeceased by her parents, three brothers, Thomas, Victor and Edwin; and two sisters, Emma and Mary.

Visitation will be Wednesday evening, January 27, from 6-9 p.m. and Thursday morning until 11 a.m. at Gesche Funeral home; then, one hour prior to 1:30 p.m. services at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church on Thursday, January 28. Rev. Richard Weber will officiate; Marilynne Maciejczak and Sharon Nemitz will provide music. Burial will be in the Neillsville City Cemetery. Pallbearers were James Hainz, Lubo Hanuszczak, Mark, Jeff, Matt and Melvin Hemp.
