Reber, Martha (1 February 1901 - 1980)

The death of Mrs. Martha Reber, 79 of Brill; left as survivors two Neillsville nieces. Mrs. Reber passed away on Monday, August 23, in St. Joseph’s Hospital.

Mrs. Reber was born on February 1, 1901, in Switzerland. She lived in the Brill area since 1935. She is survived by two brothers, Ernest and Fritz Steiner, both of Switzerland; two sisters, Marie and Ann Steiner; also both of Switzerland, and sisters, Mrs. Margaret Lewis and Mrs. Carol Chadwick, both of Neillsville, Mrs. Nancy Johnson of Milwaukee and Richard Reber of Rice Lake, all nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred, in 1949.

Funeral services were held this Thursday morning, August 28, from the United Presbyterian Church in Rice Lake with the Rev. Donald Howard officiating. Burial was made in the Nora Cemetery in Rice Lake. Appleyard’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
