Three area students attending Viterbo College, La Crosse, received their pins
and stripes during a ceremony May 21 at the college. The nurse pins, identifying
the type of nursing education received, are worn throughout the nursing career.
The black velvet stripes indicate completion of a program for registered nurses.
Those students are Marilyn Kay Fravert, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Humke of
Greenwood; Ann Marie Lindner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Lindner of
Loyal; and Alice Theodore Hamann, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hamann of
Stratford.
