EAU CLAIRE -- Gerald N. "Farmer" Neeck, 72, of Park Falls, died Saturday, April 22, 2000, at the Flambeau Hospital in Park Falls.

Farmer was born Dec. 13, 1927, in Park Falls, the son of Samuel and Amelia (Trudeau) Neeck. He married Elizabeth Herbst on June 30, 1951, in St. Anthony's Catholic Church. He worked as a bricklayer for Sam Neeck and Sons. He served in the Army during World War 11. Farmer was a member of VFW Post #6903 and American Legion Post #182 both in Park Falls. He will be greatly missed.

Farmer is survived by his wife, Betty; daughter, Marian (Wolfgang) Fluegge, Malente, Germany; granddaughter, Nina Fluegge, Robel, Germany; grandson, Mici (Leah) Fluegge, Clearwater, Fla.; brother, Herman (Shirley) Neeck, Park Falls; sister, Virginia (John) Johnson, Phillips; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Leland and Samuel; and twin sister, Geraldine Benedict.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Park Falls.

The family will receive friends Saturday one hour prior to the service at the church.

Interment will be in Nola Cemetery in Park Falls.

Wisconsin Cremation Services, Eau Claire, is serving the family.
