Lavandowski, LeRoy D. (16 June 1936 - 25 October 1968)
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon from the United Methodist Church
in Christie for LeRoy D. Lavandowski, 32, of Boyceville, who died Friday of
injuries suffered in a tractor accident on his farm. The Rev. Carl Booher of
Greenwood officiated. Burial was made in the Loyal Cemetery.
Mr.
Lavandowski was born June 16, 1936, in the Town of Weston. He attended area
schools and was a 1954 graduate of Loyal High School. On June 2, 1956, he was
married to the former Jeneda Armitage, in Christie. They farmed for two years in
the Town of York before leaving for Miami, Fla., where they resided for several
months. They later returned to Milwaukee and last June moved onto a farm near
Boyceville, which they purchased.
He is survived by his wife; two sons at
home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Helmuth Lavandowski of Neillsville; and a
sister, Mrs. James Mead of Miami, Fla.
Pallbearers were: Donald Holt,
William Joyce, Jr., James Buettner, Herman Seebandt, Ralph Ramis and Terry
Wickersham. “The Lord’s Prayer” and “What a Friend We Have in Jesus” were sung
by Mrs. Donald Schult, accompanied by Mrs. Carl Booher.

Home in Loyal was in charge of arrangements.
