Konecny, Richard Darrell (8 FEB 1951 - 7 FEB 2013)

Richard Darrell Konecny, 61, Smelterville, ID, died February 7, 2013, at his home.

He was born February 8, 1951, in Marshfield to Joseph and Dorothy (Tischendorf) Konecny of Dorchester.

Richard graduated from Colby High School and attended the University of Wisconsin.

He was a contractor and log home builder. He loved fishing, camping and building furniture.

Richard is survived by his wife, Faye, Arvada, CO; four children, Brooke Konecny, Marshfield; Shalana (Joe) Milholland, Smelterville, ID; Crissa Konecny and Cody Konecny; Arvada CO; eight grandchildren; one brother, Dan Konecny, Athens; two sisters, Linda (Duane) Brecke, Marshfield; Sue (Glenn) Roth, Unity.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents. Cremation and a celebration of Richard’s life will be at a later date.
