Bauer, Bernadine Frances (1948)

Weber-Bauer

On Wednesday morning, June 16 at 9 o’clock during a Nuptila [sic] Mass at Christ The King Catholic Church, Miss Bernadine Frances Bauer, and Joseph Michel Weber pledged their marriage vows before the Rev. Bernard Henry.

The bride’s cousin, Miss Eileen Bauer, Marshfield, was maid of honor and bridesmaid was Miss Mary Wiegel, also of Marshfield. Peter Weber attended his brother as best man and Arnold Redig, Marshfield served as groomsman.

The bride’s gown of faille was fashioned with a bustle back trimmed with lace. She carried a shower bouquet of yellow roses and white lilies.

The maid of honor wore a yellow marquisette gown and a matching sweetheart bonnet. The bridesmaid was in Aqua. Both attendants carried bouquets of roses and snapdragons.

Dinner and supper were served at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar G. Bauer, Spencer route 1. A wedding dance was held at the Eagles Hall in Marshfield.

Mrs. Weber is employed at the Dairy Belt Process Cheese plant here and the bridegroom is engaged in farming. They will reside on the farm of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John P. Weber, route 1, Marshfield.

The Record joins their many local friends in extending congratulations and best wishes for a long and happy wedded life.
