Globe (29 Jul 1915)

Miss Frances Glass, who has been visiting at the home of Gus. Grap a few weeks, returned to her home at Neillsville Monday.

There was a party at the home of Aug. Dudei Sunday evening in honor of their son, Ben, and Miss Anna Scheel’s birthdays. The evening was enjoyably spent at games and dancing.

Ernest and Albert Hemp and their families and Paul Hagedorn and family visited Dick Rosenberg and family Sunday.

Frances Glass was an over-night visitor with Martha Quast last Wednesday.

Wm. Kuhl and wife were Sunday visitors with Wm. Meihock and wife at Pine Valley.

Miss Emma Kuenkel of Grand Rapids came Saturday to spend a few days with the home folks.

Mrs. Linus Prock and children and Miss Florence Quast drove to Greenwood last Thursday and called on their parents, J. Quast and family.

Richard Hagedorn and family and Mary and Grandma Hagedorn and Wm. Scheel, Jr., and family helped Albert Kluekman celebrate his birthday Sunday.

Hugo Klauer and wife had their baby, which they adopted, christened in church Sunday.

L. Kalsow and family and Hugo Klauer and family were Sunday visitors at Rob Schlinkert’s.

Miss Olga Kuhl was a caller on Frances Glass last Wednesday at the Gus. Grap home.

Walter Bauman was a caller on Aug. Dudei and wife for supper Sunday evening. A number of young folks spent Tuesday evening at the Wm. Kuhl home.

Ben Dux was a caller on his best girl Sunday.
