Mrs. W. H. Price Passes Away

Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Georgas Funeral home, Neillsville, for Mrs. W. H. Price, 64, who died at 6 o’clock last Tuesday morning at her home in the Town of Hewett. Rev. T. F. Fahlgen officiated at the services.

The body was taken to Plover, Iowa Friday where services were held at 1:30 o’clock Saturday afternoon at the Methodist Church and where burial took place.

Mrs. Price, the former Sarah Loughead, was born December 20, 1883, in southern Wisconsin and received her education in Iowa and taught in Iowa schools for 15 years.

She was married to W. H. Price at Unity on March 15, 1916 and the couple moved to Iowa where they remained 14 years before returning to Clark County in 1930. She was a member of the Methodist Church and the Royal Neighbors of America.

Surviving are three sons, Charles, Clinton and William at home; four brothers, Tom and Fred Loughead, Unity, William Loughead, Abbotsford; John Loughead, Whitewater; and three sisters, Mrs. Lyle Fuller, Wausau, Mrs. Raymond Cook, Marathon, and Mrs. Mary Peden, Milwaukee.

Mrs Price was well known by many in this community.
