Irene was born on April 17, 1929 in Spencer, the daughter of Myron and Sophia (Hupe) Foth. She attended Brighton Country School, worked as a babysitter and later worked at the Dairybelt in Spencer. She was a wonderful cook and baker and loved baking for her grandchildren. Irene had many different talents.

She is further survived by her siblings: Bobby Foth, Belvidere, IL, Ardene Caswell, Milwaukee, Dennis (Gayle) and Russell (Ann) Foth, both of Spencer; a sister-in-law, Emily Johnson, Spencer; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Myron and Sophia and a brother, Armin Foth.
