Fred Foemmel Sr. lost a horse last week valued at $200.00.

Mesdames Truman Davis and Geo. Root attended the quilting bee last week Thursday at the home of Mrs. Jennie Graves, where at the bean guessing contest Mrs. L. Nichols won first prize and Mrs. Amelia Montgomery second.

The Mesdames Edwin Root, Fred Zwick and Guy Winn attended the R.N.A. convention at Neillsville.

Mrs. Bront Ellis writes to her old friends here that she has been spending the past 7 weeks with her father, Sam Gibson Sr. at Beasley, Texas.  Her sister in law is looking after her children and household duties during her absence.

Effie Davis spent Tuesday with her ma.

Mrs. Myron Osgood and Mrs. John Pietenpol called on Mrs. Lou Hayden one day last week.

The Mesdames Geo. Frei, J. Hefty, Ed Ackerman, Fred Foemmel Sr. and Carl Roehl went to Chili last Friday and Helped Herman Roehl and wife celebrate their sixth wedding anniversary.

Mrs. Herman Gluch, Mrs. Ackerman and Mrs. Joe Krause Sundayed at Fred Foemmel’s.

Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Johnson called on Nonhof’s and Davis’ one evening last week.

Roy Lawrence and Harmon Huntley and families Sundayed at George Huntley’s.

Mrs. Paul Garbisch and family spent Tuesday with her ma Foemmel.
