Iverson, Dawn A. (21 March 1959 – 20 March 2010)

 

Dawn A. Iverson, 50, of Black River Falls, died Saturday, March 20, 2010, at her home under the care of her family and Black River Memorial Hospice.

 

Dawn A. O’Brien was born March 21, 1959, in Black River Falls to Archie Paul and Luella Mae (Kenyon) O’Brien, Sr.  She was raised in the Millston/Black River Falls area and graduated from Black River Falls High School. She had also lived in Taylor.

 

She married Timothy J. Iverson Oct. 6, 1985.  The couple lived in Taylor, Hixton and rural Millston before settling in Black River Falls.

 

Dawn had been employed at Northern Engraving, Brenda’s Fry Bread, Country Kitchen of Black River Falls, Ashley Furniture and McDonald’s of Black River Falls.

 

She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  She also enjoyed fishing and attending rummage sales. She was also very fond of the family dog, Susie.

 

Survivors include her husband, Tim Iverson of Black River Falls; a daughter, Leslie (Chris) Konicki of Humbird; three sons, Carl (Aimee) Luther, Jay (Beth) Iverson and Kyle (Jenny) Iverson, all of Black River Falls; five grandchildren, Courtney O’Brien, Cierra Luther, Mykal Luther, Joshua Iverson and Preston Konicki; two sisters, Christine (Fred) Hermanson and Rosemary (Jim Murphy) Hermanson, both of Black River Falls; six brothers, Samuel (Vernetta) O’Brien and Peter O’Brien, both of Merrillan, Archie O’Brien, Jr. of Neillsville, Clark (Kathleen) O’Brien of Black River Falls and Keith (Jeanette) O’Brien and Michael (Darlene) O’Brien, both of Tomah; brothers-in-law, Gordon (Rose) Iverson and Arnold (Julie) Iverson, both of Black River Falls; sisters-in-law, Lola McMillan of Eau Claire, Judy (Larry) Rudolph of Tomah, Kathleen (Clark) O’Brien of Black River Falls, Roxanne (James) Brown of Eau Claire, Angela Iverson of Black River Falls; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Archie Sr. and Luella O’Brien; brothers, Robert, Richard, Donald and John O’Brien; sisters, Patricia Calkins and Elaine Pierce; and brother-in-law, Gary Iverson.

 

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 24, 2010, at the Buswell Funeral Home.  Reverend Greg Kalyvas of the Family Worship Assembly will officiate, and burial will be in Brookside Cemetery, Millston.

 

Family and friends are invited for visitation Wednesday from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the Buswell Funeral Home.
