On June 29, 2019, the Colby High Class of 1969 held its 50th reunion. Classmates were invited to participate in afternoon tours of the Colby High School, museum or Colby Community Library. A total of 80 classmates and spouses attended the evening festivities at the Colby VFW.

The Events included a photo booth, door prizes and a 50/50 raffle to benefit the Colby Community Library, while listening to 60’s music. The master of ceremonies was Jim Vorland. A moment of silence was observed for the deceased classmates.

Chuck Krueger also addressed classmates, reflecting on 50 years of change since high school. Smith Brothers catered a delicious buffet dinner. Reminiscing continued until midnight.

Steve Kolden and Judy Koffarnus served as tour guides, and the VFW staff, Allen, Tom and Jodi, hosted the celebration.
