Waite, Dwaine (1935? – 27 March 2009)

Dwaine Waite, 74, of Clifton died Friday, March 27, 2009, at the home of his son in Black River Falls.

Dwaine graduated from Sparta High School. He married Shirley Harriman in 1955 in La Crosse.

Dwaine worked at Oscar Mayer for 20 years and then went farming full-time in Clifton. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and traveling.

He is survived by his former wife, Shirley Waite of Sparta, and his children, Lorrie (Chuck) Morgan of Jefferson, Randy (Linda) Waite of Black River Falls, Julie (Wes) Pierce of Warrens and Michelle Waite of Sparta; his brothers, Richard Waite of Sparta and Douglas (Linda) Waite of Burr Oak; and nine grandchildren.

Graveside services were held Tuesday, March 31, 2009, at 11:30 a.m. at the Fountain Lutheran Cemetery in rural Kendall.

The Hare Funeral Home in New Lisbon assisted the family with services.
