Kerwood E. Hagen, 63, R.2. Black River Falls, died Monday, Dec. 8, 1980, in Black River Memorial Hospital

He was born March 27, 1917, in Black River Falls to Arthur and Valborg (Nesset) Hagen. He married Marion Peterson on May 4, 1951, in Pigeon Falls.

He was a World War II veteran.

Hagen worked in building and highway construction for many years..

He was a member of the Miles-Hagen American Legion Post 200 and the Sons of Norway.

Survivors are his wife; one son, Kerwood A. of Black River Falls; two daughters, Mrs. Judith Crutchfield of Black River Falls and Kerry of Helsinki, Finland; two grandchildren; one brother, Jack of Black River Falls; and four sisters, Mrs. Roger (Dora) McLain of Horton, Mich., Mrs. Charles (Dorothy) Koran and Mrs. Dale (Gay) Olson both of Hatfield, and Mrs. Mahlon (Polly) Holmgreen of Black River Falls.

Services will be Thursday at 3 p.m. in the Little Norway Lutheran Church, rural Black River Falls. The Rev. Paul Riiff will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at the Charles Buswell Funeral Home, Black River Falls, Wednesday from 5:30 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday from 9 a.m. until noon. Friends also may call at the church on Thursday from 2 p.m. until the services.

Memorials may be given to the Jackson County Chapter of the American Cancer Society.
