Cook, Clara (30 March 1888 25 May 1913)

Clara Kopp Cook was born in Neillsville, March 30, 1888, to Joseph Sr. and Louise Shock Kopp, and died in Merrillan May 25, 1913. Her early life was spent at home and on Sept. 6, 1906, she was married to Wm. Cook by Rev. Upson. Since her marriage she resided in this village and at Hatfield where her husband had a position. She leaves besides her husband a daughter, Naomi and parents and siblings.

The funeral was held Wednesday, conducted by Rev. A.D. Moore and those present from away were her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Kopp, Sr., and her three brothers Joseph, Frank and Fred from Columbia area, Clark County, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Bullion of Wausau, Ben Shock and sister, Dora of St. Charles, Minn., and several other friends.
