Langman, LeRoy W. (19 Apr. 1925 - 14 Jan. 2009)

LeRoy W. Langman, 83, of Marshfield, and formerly of Chetek, died on Wed., Jan. 14, 2009 at Marshfield Care Center.

A memorial Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Sat. Jan. 17, 2009, at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Chetek. Cremation will be held and inurnment will take place in Lakeside Cemetery in Chetek on the Langmans' wedding anniversary on May 17, 2009.

The family will receive relatives and friends from 10 a.m. until service time Sat. at the church.

Rembs' Funeral Home (300 S. Oak Ave. - Marshfield, WI) is assisting the family.

He was born on April 19, 1925, in Guttenburg, Iowa, to William and Louise (Weidemann) Langman. He and Edna Mae Demars were united in marriage on May 17, 1947, at Lady of the Lourdes Catholic Church in Dobie. LeRoy had been a school bus driver for the Chetek School District for 35 years.

He is survived by his wife, Edna, of Marshfield; their children, Betty (LaMont) Wiese of Marshfield, Ruth Ann (Richard) Moss of Pound, Mary (Robert) Johnson of Marshfield, William (Joan) Langman of Chetek, Marjorie Rosty of Osceola, Elaine (Gregory) Ricci, of Cumberland; and Robbie (CindyJo) Langman of Glenville, W.V.; 17 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Lloyd (Jackie) Langman of Waukesha and Raymond (Anna) Langman of Chetek; and a sister, Bernice (Harold) Nelson of Cameron.
