Scharp, Eileen Marie (27 Aug. 1920 - 6 June 2005)

Age: 84 BUTTERNUT - Eileen Marie Scharp, age 84, of Butternut, died Mon. June 6, 2005 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. She was born on August 27, 1920 in Butternut, the daughter of Lothar and Viola (Drott) Schluenz. She was married to Walter Scharp on December 3, 1940 in Butternut. He preceded her in death on June 6, 1981. She was a homemaker who loved to cook, can fresh vegetables, take care of her garden and especially loved to travel.

She is survived by four sons: Fredrick (Annette) Scharp of Colby, Richard (Diane) Scharp of Park Falls, Darrel Scharp of Dundee, Ill., and Dennis Scharp of Butternut; three daughters: Karen Johnston-Hein of Mellen, Linda (Ronald) Walker of Belvidere, Ill., and Diane (Charles) Weiss of Mason; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; three brothers: Harold (Bev) Schluenz of Madison, Lothar (Rosaline) Schluenz of Franklin Park, John (Shelly) Schluenz of Peoria, Ill., three sisters: Doris (Evan) Norgard of Madison, Wilma (Richard) Severson of Rosemont, Mont., Elizabeth (Craig) Olson of Madison; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Walter; two brothers, John and Fredrick; one sister, Ila; a granddaughter, Tami; and a daughter-in-law, Sally.

Funeral services will be held on Fri. June 10, at 10 a.m. at Peace Lutheran Church in Park Falls. Rev. John Wilman will officiate. Burial will follow at Butternut Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thur. June 9, from 5-8 p.m. at the Novitzke Funeral Chapel in Park Falls and Fri. June 10, from 9 a.m. until the hour of the service at the church.
