Seliskar, Marian (Marriage – 14 June 1975)

Miss Marian Seliskar of St. Paul, daughter of Mrs. George Seliskar of Greenwood, and the late George Seliskar, and Gerald Brezovec of St. Paul, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Brezovec, were married June 14 at the Newman Center, St. Paul. The Rev. William Hunt, a friend and pastor at the Newman Center, officiated.

The attendants were the maid-of-honor, (a college friend) Miss Marlene Lauer of St. Paul; and the bestman, James Brezovec of St. Paul, brother of the groom.

The bride wore a floor-length, white crepe gown, Spanish Lace Matilla, and carried a bouquet of yellow and white daisies.

The maid-of-honor wore a floor-length pink formal and corsage of pink and white daisies; and the grooms mother a floor-length aqua formal and yellow and white daisy corsage.

Following the ceremony, a reception and dinner was held at the Criterion restaurant, St. Paul.

The bride is a graduate of St. Teresa College at Winona, Mn., and is employed by the St,. Paul Pioneer Press. The groom graduated from the University of Minnesota and is manage of a Music store in St. Paul.

After a brief honeymoon the young couple are residing at 175 Mc Knight Road, Apt. 315, St. Paul, Mn. 55119.

People attending from this area besides the mother of the bride were Mr. and Mrs. James Seliskar and family, Mrs. Phillip Seliskar, Miss Judith Seliskar and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Makovec.
