Howsden, Irma Mae (Meyer) Nosko (29 APR 1935 - 28 AUG 2019)

Irma M. (Meyer) Nosko Howsden, age 84, of Owen, passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at Clark County Rehabilitation and Living Center.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at Community Alliance Church in Withee. Pastor Andy Davis will officiate. Interment will follow the luncheon at Perkinstown Cemetery, Town of Grover. Family and friends are welcome from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 3 and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service Wednesday all at the church.

Irma was born on April 29, 1935, in Medford, the daughter of William and Ruby (Redwine) Meyer from Perkinstown. On October 11, 1952, Irma was united in marriage to Stephen Nosko. He preceded her in death in 1978. She was united in marriage to Darell “Red” Howsden on July 9, 1985. He preceded her in death in 2006. Irma enjoyed bird watching, gardening, reading, knitting, crocheting, crossword puzzles, playing solitaire, camping and traveling. Most importantly, she cherished her family.

Irma is survived by her five children: Mike (Lorraine) Nosko of Withee, Mark (Debra Visser) Nosko of Owen, Kelly (Carol) Nosko of Apple Valley, MN., Peggy (Al) Duda of Sullivan, MO. and Bill (Marcia) Nosko of Saukville; 11 grandchildren: Michael & Cory Nosko, Jonathan Nosko and Anna (Ryan) Westaby, Tony (Kristen) Nosko, Michelle (Chris) Haynes, Jeremiah Duda, Caleb (Lynn) Duda, Hannah Duda; Stephen & J.B. Nosko; and six great-grandchildren. She is further survived by two brothers and one sister: Donald (Lana) Meyer, Lester (Mary) Meyer and Esther Clarkson; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her two husbands; her daughter, Judith Nosko; one brother, Raymond Meyer and two sisters: Shirley Meyer and Enola Westrich.
