Juniors Reception for Seniors (1916)

The Juniors entertained the Senior class and teachers at a reception at
Hotel Central on Monday evening. The dining room was beautifully decorated
in the class colors of red and white, the main flower decoration being white
trilliums.
Miss Walker acted as toast mistress and the following was given:
- Toast to the seniors – Gladys Herdrich
- Response – Sadie Walls
- Toast to the Faculty – Clara Kilburn
- Response – Miss Welsh
- Toast to the Glee Club – Lafayette Lyons
At the close of the banquet they were entertained by this program:
- Piano solo – Mabel Etta
- Class History – Bernice Irvine
- Vocal solo – Oda Thurber
- Recitation – Eula Irvine
- Vocal solor – Miss Morgan
- Class Prophecy – Esther Van Camp
- Vocal solo – Mr. Henning
- Talk to the Seniors – Mr. Schaub
A delightful evening was spent by all present and all voted that the Juniors
were grand entertainers.
