Leslie Dix, the 5-year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Dix Jr., died a little after midnight Saturday. He was taken ill a week ago with inflammation of the bowels. On Saturday afternoon an operation was performed at the Marshfield hospital but the child was too weak to survive the shock. The funeral was held from the Presbyterian church on Monday, Rev. McKinney, of Marshfield, conducting the services.
