Kohel, Leone (12 Aug. 1932 - 24 Jan. 1942)

Funeral services were held Tues. afternoon, January 27, at 2 o’clock at St. John’s Lutheran church at Auburndale for Leone Kohel of Stratford, 9-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Kohel, who died at the Chippewa Falls hospital Sat.afternoon, January 24, after a lingering illness. She is survived by her parents Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Kohel, her grandmother, Mrs. Ida Luepke and the following brothers and sisters, Eugene, Kenneth, Margie, Andrew Jr., James, Eileen and Marilyn. A brother, Harlan, died nine years ago. The Kohel family are former residents of Arpin. Pallbearers were Ruth Schallock, Gertrude Schroeder, Arlene Zophia, Betty Luther, Violet Hoefs and Deloris Schar, and flower girls were Colleen Wells, Elvera Zophia, Ellen Schar and Helen Zophia, all of Stratford. Out of town relatives and friends were Mr. and Mrs. George Kohel, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Schar, Mr. and Mrs. Art Wells, Mr. and Mrs. Art Law, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Luther, William Schilling, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Sophia and family, T. Schallock, Mrs. Sawicke and son Roy, all of Stratford; Mr. and Mrs. Steve Stoflet and family, Mrs. John Broeker and Mrs. Freeman Shupe of Arpin, and many relatives and friends from nearby communities.
