A remarkable case of sleep walking is reported at Marshfield, Wis. Fred. Bauer, a butcher of that city, got up in his sleep Monday night and walked eight miles on the Greenwood branch of the Wisconsin Central. When He awoke at 2:30 in the morning he was standing on the railroad track. He stopped the rest of the night with a farmer, who drove himn to Spencer, where he took the first train home. He had on two overcoats, but no coat or vest. This is regarded as one of the strangest cases of somnambulism (sleep walking) on record.
